Accra: Today we took it easy all day, reading and using the computer to play Warcrack on the European server. We were recovering from our overnight trip to the Akasombo Dam and wanted to be sure to see off the Scotts Hill Team who are leaving tonight. Summer, Katie, Cassandra, and Miranda were heading back to the US right into another mission trip to Buffalo, New York. Before they left, we exchanged photos, talked, and exchanged promises to visit once we reached the States.
After we said our goodbyes, Tim and I headed over to Mamma Mia's restaurant in Osu. This is our second visit to this restaurant. Casual dining but with an outstanding wood fired brick oven pizza. The patrons included an international crowd in addition to Ghanaians. After dinner, we walked home in the dark and unafraid as we dodged roadside sewage ditches and the ubiquitous taxis who in turn, are dodging axle breaking potholes.
